PANDEMIC CAUSES PANIC AMONG EROTIC MEDICAL NEWSFEED AUTHORS

An overlooked subgroup of gig-workers are demanding their fair share of government assistance amid the devastating economic effects of the COVID-19 outbreak. Freelance writers who specialize in erotic medical newsfeed articles have seen business completely dry up as online news has been completely overrun by serious coronavirus topics.
“It’s a dire situation, not only for us, but for everyone who relies on medical news for sexual stimulation and fulfillment,” said one writer who we found hard at work compiling headlines to submit to his local representative. To make his point, he pulled a sheet from his folder to demonstrate what was available on any given day before the pandemic: “What to Know About Yoga For Erectile Dysfunction,” “Why Does it Hurt When I Ejaculate,” “Sexsomnia: What is Sleep Sex?,” and “Can Watermelon Help With Erectile Dysfunction?” were all offered up on a single random day’s feed before the pandemic.
“That was just a typical day. When’s the last time you saw that kind of quality in medical writing? It’s been months,” said this writer, who is barely surviving with occasional bits in “Hustler” and “Men’s Health.”
With renewed public interest in actual medical news, it looks doubtful that medical newsfeed erotica will be able to survive this storm.
